At GeoSurf, we want to make life as easy as possible for our clients, so we have created a series of helpful videos for you. Here we feature an overview of the Manage Your IPs section.
After logging in to your GeoSurf account, you will notice your navigation panel to the left of the dashboard.
Under account settings, two options will be in view. First, your account information and second, Manage your IPs. If you choose to use IP Whitelist over username/password verification, you can manage the process from this section. You will be able to sort the view of your IP list by the date the addresses were added, whether they are active or not, or the IP addresses themselves.
If you have a long list, you can also search IP addresses by the start of the number range in the Filter by IP section. Please make sure you are the owner of your IP and that you are adding your public IP. If you are not sure what your IP is, you can visit geo.geosurf.io and it will show you your IP. If you’re using a shared service or server, we do recommend you use the username/password verification option over this.
When adding a new IP, it is important to note that it may take up to 30 minutes to update in the system. If you try to add an IP address and are shown that it already exists under a different client, please contact us. Check that you are not using a dynamic IP as when it changes you won’t be able to use the service until you add your new IP address.
